The Morocco online visa is issued as a one-entry entry authorization for a stay not exceeding 30 days. The visa stays valid for 180 days from the date of issue and can be extended for up to the next 6 months after arrival in Morocco.
An applicant will be asked to put all necessary details, including some personal information as well as travel-related details. Also, it will be necessary to upload certain supporting documents and pay the service fee.
The Morocco visa application should be submitted a few business days prior to the planned date of travel. This timeframe will let you ensure that your visa is approved on time.
As soon as the Government of Morocco approves your Moroccan electronic visa, its confirmation will arrive at your email address.
Please do note that if you need to travel to Morocco for any other purpose than those covered by the electronic visa, contacting the nearest Moroccan embassy or consulate and getting a visa in a traditional way will be necessary.

Most eligible nationalities can apply for the Morocco e-Visa if they meet one of the following conditions:
- Path A — Residence Permit: Hold a valid residence permit from: USA, Canada, EU/Schengen Area, UK, Australia, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, or UAE — valid for at least 180 days from the date of e-Visa application.
- Path B — Multiple-Entry Visa: Hold a valid multiple-entry visa (physically stamped in passport) from: USA, Canada, EU/Schengen Area, UK, Australia, Ireland, Japan, or New Zealand — valid for at least 90 days from the date of e-Visa application.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Only physically stamped or printed visas and residence permits qualify. Electronic travel authorisations such as the US ESTA, UK eTA, Australian ETA, or similar digital-only documents are NOT accepted.
No qualifying document needed: Nationals of India, Israel, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Guatemala, and Jordan can apply directly without a third-country visa or residence permit.
Who Cannot Apply for a Morocco eVisa?
You are not eligible to apply for a Morocco eVisa if:
- Your nationality is not on the eVisa-eligible list
- You hold a diplomatic, service, or other non-ordinary passport (embassy application required)
- You do not hold a qualifying residence permit or visa from an eligible country
- Your purpose of travel is business, work, or study (separate visa categories apply)
How to apply for a Morocco e-Visa?
The Moroccan e-Visa application process consists of the following steps:
- Fill out the online form: enter all the necessary details such as personal and passport details, information related to your travel, contact details, etc.
- Upload required documents: make digital copies of the necessary documents and upload them to the online form.
- Cover the visa fees: use one of the available online payment methods and pay the service fee.
After covering the service fee, you should receive a confirmation email with your application ID. Your approved e-Visa will be delivered to you via email once the Moroccan authorities approve it.
