Morocco e-Visa system was implemented in July 2022 by the Moroccan authorities with the aim to facilitate travel and encourage more foreign nationals to visit the Kingdom.

The Morocco online visa is issued as a one-entry entry authorization for a stay not exceeding 30 days. The visa stays valid for 180 days from the date of issue and can be extended for up to the next 6 months after arrival in Morocco.

Most of the eligible nationalities wishing to obtain a Moroccan e-Visa may be eligible for the online application process as long as they can fall under one of the following categories:

  • They have resided in the USA, Canada, the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia for the min. of 6 months
  • They are residents in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand with a Schengen visa valid for the min. of 3 months
  • Note: Nationals of India, Israel, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Guatemala, and Jordan can apply for a Morocco visa online without needing to submit one of the above-listed visas.

How to apply for a Morocco e-Visa?

The Moroccan e-Visa application process consists of the following steps:

  1. Fill out the online form: enter all the necessary details such as personal and passport details, information related to your travel, contact details, etc.
  2. Upload required documents: make digital copies of the necessary documents and upload them to the online form.
  3. Cover the visa fees: use one of the available online payment methods and pay the service fee of 129 Euro.
    After covering the service fee, you should receive a confirmation email with your application ID. Your approved e-Visa will be delivered to you via email once the Moroccan authorities approve it.

Documents required for Morocco online visa application include:

  • an ordinary passport copy (valid for the min. of 3 months)*

  • a passport-style face photograph
  • proof of onward/return travel
  • proof of sufficient funds for the entire duration of stay in Morocco

*Other types of passports than ordinary will not be accepted, e.g., If you are a holder of a travel document, service, special, or diplomatic passport, you must obtain a visa for Morocco at the embassy o consulate.
